Calderdale's Special Constables had a busy bank holiday as they found one man in possession of cocaine and another was arrested for being drunk and disorderly.
Seven officers were deployed into Halifax Town centre on Sunday and the force said the vast majority of people behaved themselves but officers did have cause to speak to a number of people throughout the shift.
A spokesperson for the police division said: "A 21-year-old male was stop searched and found in possession of cocaine. As the male was not known to police a referral was made to local substance misuse services who will engage with him around substance misuse.
"An 18-year-old male was arrested for drunk and disorderly behaviour after becoming abusive towards door-staff who had refused him entry to premises. He was given an £80 fine for his actions."
Officers also received a report of a distraction theft on Commercial Street.
The victim was handing money to a busker when the suspect removed an Iphone 7+ from her handbag whilst she was distracted.
